  LIGHTS OF GLORY MINISTRIES

THE CHOICE IS YOURS!....

..."CHOOSE YOU THIS DAY WHO YE WILL SERVE"?

JOSHUA 24:15

GOD loves you and he told us so in John 3:16 that "For GOD so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life," and I John 4:9 tells us GOD "sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him."

GOD cares for your needs and JESUS can change your whole life and give you joy and peace now and forever. CHRIST said,"I came that they might have life and might have it more abundantly." (that it might be full and meaningful.) John 10:10. And Phillipians 4:19 tells us, "But my GOD shall supply all your needs according to His riches in glory by CHRIST JESUS."

Man was created to have fellowship with GOD, Galatians 3:26 tells us "For ye are all the Children of God by faith in CHRIST JESUS" and "if children, then heirs, heirs of God and joint heirs with CHRIST." Romans 8:17. But that fellowship was broken, and as Romans 3:23 states "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of GOD", and ".... the wages of sin is death. Sin in being or doing wrong against GOD, others, or yourself. You can sin in yur thoughts as well as your actions. We are sinners by nature and born into sin. It's our choice to remain an unforgiven sinner or saved by GOD's forgiveness.

Roman 6:23 tells us that"...the gift of GOD is eternal life through CHRIST JESUS our LORD. Failure to turn yourself over to JESUS CHRIST is sin. "He that believeth on HIM is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten SON OF GOD." John 3:18.

But JESUS died on Calvary for our sins, he redeemed us from our sins, through HIM you can know and experience God's love and his plan for your life. Romans 4:25 tells us CHRIST "was delivered for our offenses, and was raised again for our justification. Ephesians 1:7 says, "In whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of HIS grace." Romans 5:8 states, "But GOD demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, CHRIST died for us." Isaiah 53:5 tells us CHRIST "was wounded for our trangressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed."

CHRIST died and rose again because HE loves us. (I Corinthians 15:3-6 tells us that CHRIST died for our sins....He was buried, He was raised on the third day, according to the scriptures...He appeared to Peter, then to the twelve. After that He appeared to more than five hundred.

The only way we can be saved is through JESUS: JESUS said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the father, but through Me." (John 14:6). We must receive CHRIST wholly and freely, and give ourselves totally to him. We must die to self and give ourselves to Him. Didn't he do the same for us?

John 1:12 tells us,"But as many as recieved Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name." We must receive CHRIST through Faith in His Word, (Ephesians 2:8-9) tells us "For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of GOD; not as a result of works ( or anything we did on our own), that no one should boast."

When we receive CHRIST, we are a new creation, we have a new spiritual birth, full of grace and mercy. To receive JESUS CHRIST, you must admit to yourselves that you need CHRIST, you are a sinner and can't save yourself. We must be willing to turn from our sins, "Repent ye therefore, and be coverted, that your sins may be blotted out ( Acts 3:19). Ask JESUS CHRIST to forgive your sins and take control of your life. Roman 10:9-10, tells us, "If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the LORD JESUS, and shalt believe in thine heart that GOD raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto Salvation. And in obedience to the Lord, you adhere to Act 2:38, "Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost." (We are forgiven at repentance and ours sins are remitted or washed away at water baptism in Jesus Christ.)

CHRIST calls us and gives us a personal invitation to answer HIS call; for JESUS said "Behold, I stand at the door and knock, if any one hears My voice and opens the door, I will come into him. Revelations 3:20. You must make up your mind and choose whom will you serve- the devil or GOD. It's as simple as that.

Do you want the LORD to come in to your life? Is there any reason you can't accept him now? If not, pray this prayer, or pray in your most sincerest way, in your own words:

Dear LORD JESUS, I know I have done wrong and need your forgiveness. Thank you for dying on the cross for my sins and for offering me eternal life. Please forgive my sins and help me to turn from them. I open the door of my life and confess YOU as my LORD and SAVIOR. Take control of my life and make me the kind of person You want me to be." In JESUS name, AMEN.
