Speak To My Heart Lord

I am thankful that we serve a God who is loving and plenteous in mercy. God is a Father who loves His children and is concerned about every area of our lives. God has given His precious word to speak to our hearts in difficult times. The word of God says, ‘I will bless the Lord who has given me counsel. My heart also instructs me in the night seasons. Because He is at my right hand I shall not be moved.’-----Psalms 16:7-9.

Many times when we face pain and broken heartedness, we can feel alone and like no one understands. God is waiting for us to run into His loving arms for comfort, guidance and rest because ‘He loves us’.

There is no one like the God of Jeshurun. Who rides the heavens to keep you, and in His excellence on the clouds. The eternal God is your refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms. He thrusts out the enemy from before you.-----Deuteronomy 33:23

Out of the depths I have cried to thee, O Lord: Lord, hear my voice. Let thy ears be attentive to the voice of my supplication. -----Psalms 130:1, 2.

Bow down your ear, O LORD, hear me: for I am poor and needy. Preserve my soul; for I am holy: O you my God, save your servant that trusts in you. Be merciful to me, O Lord: for I cry to you daily. Rejoice the soul of your servant: for to you, O Lord, do I lift up my soul. For you, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive; and plenteous in mercy to all them that call on you. Give ear, O LORD, to my prayer; and attend to the voice of my supplications. In the day of my trouble I will call on you: for you will answer me. -----Psalms 86:1-7.

But you, O Lord, are a God full of compassion, and gracious, long suffering, and plenteous in mercy and truth. O turn to me, and have mercy on me; give your strength to your servant, and save the son of your handmaid. Show me a token for good; that they which hate me may see it, and be ashamed: because you, LORD, have helped me, and comforted me. -----Psalms 86:15-17.

Give ear to my words, O LORD, consider my meditation. Listen to the voice of my cry, my King, and my God: for to you will I pray. My voice shall you hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct my prayer to you, and will look up. Psalms 5:1-3.

O LORD, rebuke me not in your anger, neither chasten me in your hot displeasure. Have mercy on me, O LORD; for I am weak: O LORD, heal me; for my bones are vexed. My soul is also sore vexed: but you, O LORD, how long? Return, O LORD, deliver my soul: oh save me for your mercies' sake. For in death there is no remembrance of you: in the grave who shall give you thanks? -----Psalms 6:1-5.

Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in your sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer. -----Psalms 19:14.

But be not you far from me, O LORD: O my strength, haste you to help me. -----Psalms 22:19.

In you, O LORD, do I put my trust; let me never be ashamed: deliver me in your righteousness. Bow down your ear to me; deliver me speedily: be you my strong rock, for an house of defense to save me. For you are my rock and my fortress; therefore for your name's sake lead me, and guide me. Pull me out of the net that they have laid privately for me: for you are my strength. Into your hand I commit my spirit: you have redeemed me, O LORD God of truth. I have hated them that regard lying vanities: but I trust in the LORD. I will be glad and rejoice in your mercy: for you have considered my trouble; you have known my soul in adversities; and have not shut me up into the hand of the enemy: you have set my feet in a large room. Have mercy on me, O LORD, for I am in trouble: my eye is consumed with grief, yes, my soul and my belly. -----Psalms 31:1-9.

You have granted my life and favor, and Your care preserves my spirit. -----Job 10:12.

When my father and my mother forsake me, the Lord will take care of me. -----Psalms 27:10.

The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in Him. And I am helped; therefore my heart greatly rejoices and with my song I will praise Him. The Lord is their strength, and He is their strength, and He is the saving refuge of His anointed. -----Psalms 28:7-8.

God is our refuge and strength, an ever present help in trouble. -----Psalms 46:1.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths. -----Psalms 3:5-6.

I know the plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you a future and a hope. -----Jeremiah 29:11.

I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with my eye. -----Psalms 32:8.

Keep me as the apple of your eye: Hide me under the shadows of Your wings. -----Psalms 17:8

Cast your burden on the Lord, and He shall sustain you. He shall never permit the righteous to be moved. -----Psalms 55:22.

Have mercy on me, O God, have mercy on me: for my soul trust in thee. And in the shadow of thy wings will I hope, until iniquity pass away. -----Psalms 57:1.

Blessed be the Lord and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ the Father of Mercies and God of all comfort who comfort us in all tribulations. -----2 Corinthians 1:3-4.

Come unto me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light. -----Matthew 11:28 & 30.

Thy word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path. -----Psalms 105.

The Lord is gracious and merciful: patient and plenteous in mercy. The Lord is sweet to all: and his tender mercies are over all his works. -----Psalms 145:8-9.

This is my comfort in my affliction for Your word has given me life. -----Psalms 119:50.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. -----John 3:16.
